The Port of Dover's Chief Executive, Dr Bob Goldfield and Director of Finance and Commercial, Tim Waggott, were VIP guest speakers last week at one of the leading global port finance and investment training events.
For port executives, policy makers and academics, the event covered key issues such as port strategy and master planning, port finance, capital expenditure and overall delivered a thorough understanding of port and terminal investments.
Taking place at Imperial College London, Dr Goldfield and Mr Waggott offered participants their expert insights as they have done recently to other international delegations in China, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Dr Goldfield said: "Invitations to speak at such high profile international learning events give us the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience in operating, developing and financing a world class port facility. It is also a sign of the reputation the Port of Dover is gaining within the professional port community."
