Man Suffers Blood Clot After Assault In Dover

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Dover early on New Year's Day which left him with a blood clot on his brain, cuts and bruises.

The 30-year-old man had been to a party in London Road and was returning to the address after getting some air at around 1am when he was confronted by four men.

He was assaulted and lost consciousness and is currently undergoing surgery at William Harvey Hospital.
