Obviously I disagree Philip. There are a number of issues I think that are not in-line with me (or is it the other way round), but I certainly do not think Cameron is a menace.
The economy is now the strongest in Europe and unemployment is very low. I accept that wages are still low outside London, but I do honestly believe that it would be back to square one (in deep poo-poo) if Labour were given the reins of Government. They simply don't have a clue - at any level: Town, District, County or Government.

Phillip is spot on in his assessment of Cameron, time and again; Coulson and Juncker for example, he displays bad judgement. He couldn't beat Brown and he won't beat Milliband, this thread demonstrates why.
Roger haughtily says the unemployment is very low, I'm sure the 1m 18-25 NEETS are delighted to hear that.

This has thrown me completely i assumed that the vast majority of blue voters would have preferred a coalition with UKIP in the event of another hung parliament.

Thanks for the link Howard; in there, is a sentence:
"the first-past-the-post electoral system is likely to deny the party (UKIP) any more than a handful of MPs.
So this demonstrates quite easily that UKIP will not form a Goverrnment and will NOT take us out of Europe.
The only way to get out of the EU is to vote Tory - even if people vote tactically, it's the only way to achieve what the
(perceived) majority of the British people want.

Roger you are becoming more sheep like all the time, even if, and its a big if, Cameron gives us a vote he'll campaign to stay in the EU.
I'm not sure if you're delusional or obdurate, but whichever way you look at it Cameron has been PM for 4 years and has shown no conviction whatsoever towards getting us out of the EU.

Incidentally Howard's link proves my point, the conservative party is very pro EU.

UKIP probably wont get any MPs at all.
Incidentally - if I was PM and lumbered in a coalition with the Limpdems I would not show any enthusiasm for Euroscepticism either, its a matter of what is practically achievable with the political balance you have. That said I would be doing a lot more behind the scenes to undermine and destroy the LDs and get a real Conservative majority with a EU exit plan than Cameron is willing to risk.
Roger is right, the best chance of an EU exit is the Conservative Party regardless of Cameron (who is not as pro-EU as David wants you all to think, far from it).
The delusion is the one that UKIP hold on to.

Good to see Barry back with his uncompromising political stance which does provoke debate.
I disagree with the view that UKIP won't get any seats, i suspect they will gain 2 locally and a few more in the East Midlands and East Anglia. The trick will be to ensure they have well known local candidates that people can associate with, the yellows have always been good at that.
A year ago i felt certain that the blues were heading towards a clear if small overall majority it now seems very likely that either of the big two could end up with the most seats, then the horse trading will commence.

Yes, said this a very long time ago if you like myself wish the UK to come out of the EU the only way is vote for the blues any vote other then that will help in keeping the UK in the EU.
As for myself I will not be voting if I did it would be blue but there would have to see the end of the local-----------before I done that.

I still think the EU will implode before any decision is made by us or our leaders.
Mrs Merkel has said many times that the single currency is the cornerstone of the union, i predict that Germany will leave it under internal pressure, the rest will just be a domino effect.

All you need do is look back at history to see the effects of mass unemployment and money printing.
