10 January 2019 18:04353334I am no fan of foxhunting but it is always fairly easy to tell those who have never kept poultry (town or rural) or even lived in the country where foxes can be a real problem even for sheep owners.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I don't know about sheep Jan but the issue of protecting chickens from foxes came up on here some years back and it was quite cheap to give adequate protection from foxes.Guest 3065 likes this - Keith Sansum1

Howard it might work out cheap in relative terms if you are a large producer but not for those who only keep a few poultry, imagine the cost of protecting ducks with a large pond or river access.
Foxes kill and take the lovely little lambs we all like to see, if the choice is fox or lamb I know which I would choose.
