Looks like things are looking up for pubs in Dover for a change, The Arlington to re-open, and the Park, the Ellie becoming a micro, and the Pier 3 to re-open as a bar so I am told, good news all round!

not heard that about the arlington, good news if "pier 3" re-opens, there has been a "let by" sign in the window for a while now.

the flotilla is still shuttered and the"to let" sign has replaced the "let by" sign in pier 3.
better news is the park inn has a free buffet all weekend.

What a shame the Park inn chose to be so impersonal, a name is so much more friendly when you are trying to promote yourself, I assume it is a representative posting.

Closed again on Monday and reopened again today with all live music to stay but Kent musicians noticeboard say that all "gigs" are cancelled for the time being.

Lots of live music evenings posted on Facebook but the sign outside invites new people to run it.
