I did see the van this morning while waiting for my lift home [0830ish] traffic was running ok by then. - 17 October 2014 14:49273400I rather suspect it was the same "driver" who lives 6 doors from me. It happened about the time he normally finishes work and there is no sign of his van that is normally parked nearby. A police car was parked near his house this morning.

- 20 December 2015 16:37288915Not me this time but a taxi pulled out of Clarendon Street and made contact with a car driving up Belgrave Road and caused it to crash into the wall next door to me. Thankfully no injuries but both drivers badly shaken up.

- 21 December 2015 13:19288936Can't fault KCC, they were notified yesterday evening of the damage to the lamp post and right now a van is outside and they are surveying the damage.
- 27 December 2015 12:22289042Seems to be catching on the house at the junction of Folkestone Rd and Underdown Rd had its wall removed by a car on Christmas Eve and the driver disappeared quickly with what was left of the car.
- 18 November 2016 13:13320639I have been chasing KCC for nearly a year to replace the lamp post/bus stop and could only get through on their website which always said in progress or something similar. Finally E mailed Gordon Cowan last weekend and the new column has been installed today.
