I played on that stage at the young age of just 10years old on my violin trying to get on a show on the TV I did not win but a Dover group did at that time they called themselves the Rolling stones,but had to change their name to the playboys I was not that bad but they were very good .
there was a full house down there and held on a Saturday,
Also a doorman when they turned it into a night club but only got into one fight I did get the person out in the end .
I took this on my visit to Dover this week, something similar may have been posted previously, if so I apologise for the repeat.
A very sad ending to a fine, much loved building.
