Good to see the work taking place, looks like it is probably the drainage works at present through part of the mill has been recently knocked down.
Also noticed that the new houses on the site of the sorting office are underway and some sort of activity in the old college building in Maison Dieu Road
Been nice knowing you :)

Lots going in up Buckland Paper Mill - first time I have awlaked past in quite a while.
They have certainly brought Buckland House back to life and although some of the new buildings are not my cup of tea it is nice to see a brown field site being used

Nice renovation work done, but a shame the new buildings have the "Burlington effect".
Couldn't we apply the 10 King Street style for new buildings, please!?

A town of "Number 10's" would be extremely boring. Dover is a town where everyone has left their mark from the Romans onwards, and we should continue to do so

Been nice knowing you :)

I actually like the new buildings they are a lot better than many of the bland slab sided blocks that normally get put up

The smaller new build behind the existing mill buildings is called Watermark House.

Panoramic view of the back of the mill - you can just see the hole in the wall of the old building that they are working on

What a very suitable name.
I recently used the last of the conqueror paper that my husband got in exchange for his duty free cigarette allowance.

I saw some people moving into the smaller building today, so that's a good sign.

I noticed that at the weekend too, but didn't have a camera to hand. Talk about a transformation - it's great to see the building being brought back to life.
