The ship above is the Wind Surf and a truly magnificent ship she be! She visited Dover for the first time in many years on saturday and of course looked totally fantastic as you can see above. The picture showing was taken at 4.30pm approx as she made her way softly across the harbour in the the glorious afternoon sun. As she left the terminal pier, none of her sails were hoisted high, but as she moved in gentle fashion across the harbour, one by one the sails slowly raised until all main sails were full and high...as shown. And quite a sight she made..traffic stopped in her wake !!
