Social Page No 6 - Pencester Jazz day.

15 September 2007

What a lovely day it was in the Park on saturday(sept 15). As with nearly every event in this Pencester summer, the sun beamed through and made it spectacular. This Jazz day was absolutley good, the sounds and acts were just great. The music, the singing, all were totally enjoyable and as ever a good compliment of Fab Forumites turned out to see it and support it. The whole thing was organised by David Somers and Town Centre Management, and again it was another good event so full credit to them, the TCM team. Unfortunately I wasnt able to stay terribly long so missed a fair few other Fab Formites Im sure, but catch you next time guys.

In the picture above are L to R.
Briony Boland, daughter, who is showing an uncanny and alarming knack at parting me from my credit card lately. Lovely Jan Tranter good time girl and ex-Mayor extraordinaire, then David Somers Town Centre Manager, who organised the Event and has certainly given us some good days this summer, and Colette Boland Doverforum PR Guru type person.

Cllr Sue Nicholas enjoying a lovely day in the park. Seen here with persistent fund raiser and ticket seller Stewart Dimmock, who was great fun as ever.Different sides of the political coin these two but all Fab Forumites to a man and woman, and all as ever making a hugely worthwhile contribution to daily life in Dover.

The picture on the right shows the great chatting that goes on at these Events among Forumites...
here we have ColetteB, AlisonW, Nigel Collor, BarryW, The Buckland Blonde, and Charlie Elphicke Conservative Candidate for Dover and Deal, all chatting away to there hearts content..pondering only briefly to hear the soulful sounds of the performers.

THis last shot shows the colourful summerclad Dovorians enjoying a lovely late summer day in Pencester.
