I wonder how happy he is now that he has the photo loving Natalie on his side. Good riddance even though her time here must be short lived.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I'm not happy about this at all. It surely has to be harder than this to cross the floor - how low is the bar?

Good riddance! Let’s hope Dover is free of her very very soon!

Lady in Red - I didn't see that coming! Still, with her background in housing and law, I guess she'll be able to advise her new party's Deputy Leader.

This. I assume the Labour calculation is that we can put up with her for a few months given the damage she can do to Sunak. From her perspective, she's out of a job so will get some Advisory/Quango housing role in a Labour administration.
Personally, I'm appalled. She's from the bonkers wing of the ERG and would have hoped we'd have been above this. Alas.

Glad she's not just being parachuted in as a replacement local candidate.
I'd have had to vote Green.

.
If only there was some Quango which dealt with housing which the Labour Party wishes to 'repurpose' and which paid much more than an MP's salary.

I hope you are reassured this time, Keith, that I think this is an appalling decision and has really surprised me. The bar should be so much higher than this. Not happy.

The privatisation of the Labour Party has obviously failed.
Time to put it back in public ownership?

Starmer's job is to complete the project that started with Blair and continued with Cameron et al.
So, no, he won't stop the boats.
