Edwin Wood Thorp Farley

• Mayor of Dover : 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918

Appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1918 for his services to Dover during the First World War, and knighted in the 1920 New Year Honours for 'public and local services'.
