A bit of a storm in an egg cup, mountain out of an ant hill in my view, in fact I never knew the origin of the term and think I am not alone in this. A great chance for people to be suitably outraged though.

Credit to the Tories for withdrawing the whip. I broadly agree with post #1, the incredibly inept, insulting wording is awful but shouldn't be career ending. I believe she was quite repentant and I accept that. Social graces of Boris Johnson but without the wit, perhaps?!

The correct term is
"Person of ethnicity in the environmentally friendly and sustainable energy source"
