You could well be right with that last statement Keith, but when we all sit here and complain about how governments don't represent the electorate and how we need a change, which I totally agree with, we can't pick and choose what lies and corruption we want changed, and which ones we will turn a blind eye to.
The US never sent us any military aid during the Northern Ireland conflict, quite the contrary in fact, but our lying cheating politicians didn't hesitate to start an illegal war in support of the USA.
The majority of Muslims are decent and respectful people, as are the majority of Catholics, but the minorities of both have made terrorist attacks on the UK, so surely its difficult to separate one religion from the other. I find this slavish devotion to the USA quite pathetic, we should get it into our heads that we are no longer a superpower and find other countries with which to align ourselves and find our place in the world order, not as america's lap dogs.
