    And, highly unusually, one Mrs Elphicke voting 'Aye' today in Division 55, namely Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill Committee: Amendment 23. She and 64 others.

    I don't actually know what the proposed amendment was, but it could have been designed to "strengthen" the Bill by declaring in law that St Margarets Bay is an unsafe place and thereby creating a disincentive to illegally land small boats there.
