Surprising to see a Yellow like Steve together with a true Blue MP - must have been a cobbled together coalition.

Only met Steve the once, at last year's lifeboat open day and he gave us a very interesting and informative tour of the vessel.
As I don't listen to local radio I had no idea who we was then, seems a pity that despite is voluntary work this sort of thing hits the headlines, after all we all do things that we cringe about when looking back.

Both wrong Brian but someone you live with and who hoped to spend the rest of their life with you surely deserved more than a text?

The man is (to use an old fashioned word) a cad for being unfaithful to his wife and then dumping the girlfriend in such a cowardly way. She is not much better for making the whole sordid affair public.

Interesting link Brian, two people in the public eye in what is sometimes referred to as a leg over situation would be covered by the media, not the BBC though.
I believe Steve still lives in Dover, the same road as Ian if my memory serves me correct.

Reporting this kind of story just hurts those involved, particularly the innocent parties, and is not in the public interest. The BBC is right to keep quiet about it. It is none of our business.
