    There have been around 20 English translations of the Koran. Many more into other languages. 'Rob[in]son's book', actually written and self-published by one Peter McLoughlin (presumably an unrecognised Arabic scholar) uses the Pickthall translation from 1930. But, as with all translations, there's nothing 'true and factual' about it; interpretation goes hand in hand with translation. But you'd need to know 7th century Arabic to judge for sure. McLoughlin's 'interpretation' is really an interpretation of an interpretation, much the same as reading, say, the King James bible today.
