The police need to open a case against Dovers MP or drop it ,it has been far to long from the time he was reported .And what about his family they must be going mad and though hell with this long wait.
He is still our MP and we should know what it is all about .

just to add to my post,I am not a blue or a red or any other party in fact I have not voted for some years now, because I do not think any party has a good sound leader . But in the case of Dovers MP it is wrong to hang him out to dry without saying why,he is our MP and as such we should know what is going on and why have the police or his party not said anything about the case after so many weeks.

I agree entirely. I am a Labour supporter, but this is simply about affording people a fair hearing and due process. Ironically, this is the same issue as that of which it aims to solve - Parliament being treated differently to any other place of work. Nowhere else would you be suspended and not be told why - crazy.

Oh please. The police are under no obligation to make their investigations public, just as with any other individual. He hasn't been charged. If and when he is charged, then I would expect the details to be made public.
They only people (or perhaps person) who has hung him out to dry is his own party - an organisation which, at the moment, continues to display mindboggling levels or subjectivity and incompetence. He's not suspended from his job. He's had the party whip withdrawn - a totally different thing. Only the mendacious Theresa can explain why that should be and she clearly has no mind to do so.
I for one will not wringing my hands for him. There are causes in this world much more deserving of my sympathy than poor old Charlie. I can't help calling to mind Damion Green denying all knowledge of downloaded porn on his office computer. Honesty is not a strong point in Charlie's chosen profession. We'll just have to wait and see whether he fits the mould or not.
