Sorry but the hourly rate in the UK does not on the face of it seem to low I think it is the cost of living that is to high like Heating,Housing ,the cost of food is low if you shop in the right shops we need a lot of the part-time jobs to be full-time ones so all get a fair wage to live on.Rents are to high and there are alot of very poor landlords out there but council homes and housing trusts are fair if you can get one.
And that is what there is a great need for '1000s of new homes build for the public that need to rent because they do not have funds to buy one of their own, and some landlords need to be made to look after and keep the house,s they rent out in good repair,and in return the public that rent must be made to keep up with their rent repayments and look after the house or flat they are in.But again thats only my way of thinking.
