Keith.
I do not want to enter into another negative war of attrition with you again as that is what is turning members away from this forum.
However, what I said about councillors in my #61 post, also applies to members of the community such as yourself.
"I never go to counsellors; I just present my self at the council offices or ring in"
Perhaps that's why you say such stupid things about them.
How can you make purposeful comments on them if you do not connect with them?
"Most of the councillors are on expenses, twisting the knife and jumping on every cash horse that is trotting past".
No, that is not true.
Some yes but most definitely not most.
legitimate expenses are necessary and with some that do not even claim expenses, to generalize like you do is aggressively pointless and un-founded.
"All we need is a counsel warden doing inspections of council property and responsibilities"
The council does not run housing anymore, they shed their responsibilities on that one.
A bad decision as far as I am concerned.
"With counsellors we general see them attaching them selves to projects, drawing extra cash for them selves"
I think these types of accusations needs to be backed up with proof.
Perhaps you would like to enlighten us a bit more with further evidence of this?
"Volunteers in the community are a different breed and should be encouraged by the big council"
These people need your support and positive thinking.
These people don't go gobbing off about what's wrong and who's at fault, they actually get on with things and make a difference(quietly)
