I'm trying to think who the last true Tory PM was before we got hit with all these 'balance the books' doomsters.
Apparently, according to Ms Rayner though not Mr Starmer, Labour would reverse the planned cut in Income Tax from 20% to 19% (ie. put it back to where it currently is) if they came to power, to which Natalie tweeted "Labour’s solution to tackle the cost of living? Grabbing more in taxes from the pockets of millions of hardworking British people. Same old Labour."
