    They ask for your opinion Button because that’s how the voting system is set up.

    Under the recently evolved Parliamentary system MP’s are likely to try to change the result when they disagree with it. It’s ‘simples’ really as they ask you what you want and then you may, after many playground antics, get what they want!

    Some MP’s, probably keen to save time doctoring the result, are now suggesting that 16 year olds and people from other European countries should get a vote too.

    Concern was expressed by some on the cost and time needed to set this up, which means that they would probably miss any snap election called for December.

    There is a cheaper method:

    Us oldies cannot be trusted to vote for the ‘correct’ candidate so if you have a postal vote they could possibly be allocated to the local school 16 year olds who I’m sure could remember where the X should go!

    If you vote at the local polling station it could feature a queue of young multinational helpers to show you where to put your X........a no brainier!
