on a slightly different note I always find it amazing that people stick to the same rosette at every level of government - at parish/town and district, party politics should be irrelevant; one should vote for the person that most closely represents your aspirations and whose track record does likewise. Only above these levels does party politics become relevant and then one ought to think of not only the individuals track record and promises but also those of their party when assessing how to vote.
