If Corbyn was capable of rational thinking he could simply instruct his MPs to vote against the motion tomorrow. If asked why he has changed his mind he can simply point out that the PM had said the opposite every time up until a week or so ago and had now decided that electoral gain was more important than keeping her word and that he was now following suit.

Doubt that will happen and I am pinning my hopes on a lot of phone calls being made this evening and overnight between Labour MPs that still have their sanity or at least a survival instinct to cause a rebellion. The biggest loser would be Mrs May who is unlikely to have such an unassailable lead again and will grow edgier close to 2020 as any new leader would be more of a threat than Jezza.
