I’m undecided who to support yet but for those who think Boris is not up to the job I ’ll leave with this thought. He ran London for two terms. His greatest strength was not his ability to deal with every issue but to ensure the team he built could do the job & deliver. My experience in dealing with the London team as a South East Councils representative during that time was on Transport , Housing & Planning they were top notch & we in the wider South East needed to be equally served to match & keep up with their agenda & implications particularly for Kent. If he were to translate that expertise in Government he’ll do well on the national agenda. As for the wider Foreign affairs & Defence matters, I think he’ll have learnt from his stint as Foreign Secretary & be wiser.

His alleged failure is his mouth.
