I thought it was only Howard with an ascerbic wit.
Trouble is though, that it is true that most Labour areas/wards have higher numbers of people with health problems or will die earlier - that all came out in the recent "State of the District" survey.
Not sure if everyone voted Conservative, we'd all be better off - maybe people should try it next year, then if they are better, they'll know what to do the next time.

Nice of him to make the 'hilarious' comment that his shares in Israeli Arms manufacturers have gone up by 6% recently. I'm all for a good joke, but what kind of sick **** can make jokes about children being killed and maimed. And, no, I haven't had a sense of humour bypass on the NHS, its just really not very funny at all and you he should seriously start thinking about having a BUPA funded stupidity bypass.

I've never met him, he's tweeted that "someone close to Charlie" has phoned him to tell him to stop tweeting.
If ever proof were needed that to get on in the tory party you have to toe the line.

Just goes to show what an embarrassment he is to his party, the man is a complete insensative idiot as illustrated by Barrie's post.
David, to get on in any party including UKIP you have to toe the party line otherwise you are a loose canon that can cause numerous problems.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Jan, after an incident a while back involving Cllr Frost he lost his job as a teacher but remained a Conservative Cllr.
Make what you will of that.
I've never met him, my point is based on history nobody can be surprised.

Nothing to do with political correctness Roger, it is about being insulting to people who he believes are beneath his social standing.
He referred to us all as thick, fat and covered in tattoos when a member here and made disparaging comments about his pupils much to the displeasure of the parents that contacted us to complain.

I used to be insulting to people who were above my station, now everyone is, there's no point.
We can't be upset anymore, we mustn't have our sensitivities hurt. I don't think he accused everyone of being thick, fat and covered in tattoos, although there are some people just like that - I've seen them and I'm sure you have too.
I didn't hear that he had insulted his pupils, I understood that the parents of his pupils were supportive of him as he was a very good teacher.
