    Surprised you have no problem with subjects being dropped Bob, even more surprised that you view after school activities in such a negative way. Music, Art, Drama etc make pupils more rounded unless you prefer to see a bunch of dullards with certificates making their way in the world. Team sports such as Football/Netball/Cricket/Rugby make children realise that working together with other children they would not normally get along with is ideal preparation for the work place.
