  They used to call it lapel badge politics nowadays people hold banners or pieces of cardboards with a simplistic slogan on hoping they will get on T.V. Well meaning maybe but incredibly ill informed as most can't tell the difference between a refugee, economic migrant or someone escaping the law in their home country. I think our government has got it right in sending large sums of money to the refugee camps bordering Syria and promising to bring over many of the most vulnerable people.
  
  Unfortunately there are still people trying to buy their way into heaven by sending supplies to the camps in Calais and Dunirk which are populated by many stone throwing, knife wielding yobs.
