I believe there needs to be a change in the funding of the political system and despite Prudent Dave's desire to
save the public from having to fund it from taxes I would rather pay a few more pounds in the hope of breaking the partisan nature of the currents system. Politicians need to represent the electorate not vested interests.

this is where the problem lies with public funding inasmuch as howa much goes to each party.
at the end of the day the major parties don't really need that much dosh, they have tv and press coverage for free permanently and even more at election times.

I guess the proposal will increase the national debt besides I would have more respect for him if he was to guarantee raising the minimum wage to that of the living wage.
Yet another impractical but vote catching idea to go with his energy freeze plan.
