Although good arguments (US based) which I can see the thinking behind them it is not just a case of relying on the politician but if companies actually took the mantle on it would be good. Unlike in the US where states/cities can raise their min wage we are stuck with a national one. If some companies started to pay a better living wage then good, as some already pay the living wage to their staff.
