Bet he never thought that the 'rivers of blood' would be (mostly) from black kids stabbing each other innit Bruv?

Good stuff. Look forward to hearing a BBC reading of JR Campbell's open letter to the fighting forces, and perhaps the Zinoviev letter too, given current events. Meanwhile, as an antidote there's always the repeat on BBC4 tonight of the excellent Nat King Cole documentary 'Afraid of the Dark.'

As opposed to Enoch's 'Afraid of the Darkies'?

You’re a very naughty boy Capt., I think for you an appropriate course or two is in order!
Personally though I couldn’t be bothered to wade through all that usual Guardian bilge but I did just happen to note that apparently poor old Enoch got the sack by Heath, nuff said!

#2 & #4 why not go for a hat-trick of offensive posts? Have you seriously not understood the courses you've been mandated to attend?

The fact that you choose to take offence is very much down to you. I have never been 'mandated' to be re-chipped and if you honestly think I'm going to moderate my words at my age just so someone can't take faux-offence on behalf (almost inevitably) of someone else - dream on.

Why do you call the article bilge John when you haven't read through it?

Because of what I said Howard, the “usual” bilge because in the main that’s what I’ve previously found their articles to be.
My own personal opinion of course, but If their liberal lefty PC opinion floats your boat then fine, but it’s not for me I’m afraid.
Each to his own eh?

At least you still have the right to be offended, even on behalf of people you have never met in places you have never been to.

As Enoch himself put it in April 1968 “I deliberately include at least one startling assertion in every speech in order to attract enough attention to give me a power base within the Conservative party.”

I dunno, VM, I think we should take the lid off the drain every now and again, if only to show the sewage we've been gradually expelling from the body politic.

Sometimes it is better to remind people rather than pretend it never happened.

We see speeches on television from Hitler, Mussolini, Donald Trump etc that were much more controversial than Enoch's rant.
