  I've said it before, the main parties have too much of a vested interest in keeping their tickets for the gravy train to allow any other party to get a look in. As soon as UKIP begin to look as if they may be a threat to the status quo, as I think they might have done, they will be ridiculed and villified by the organs of the establishment.
  For those who doubt my word, I have no political affiliations at all, but I am allowed to comment on what passes for politics and politicians in this country notwithstanding.
