  So the Woman selected by the local party may well have been the best candidate even if the W.O.S. was not In place, but they will never know.

  You make a valid point, Mr Sansum1. I would make a point that men have been ballsing up the job of government for long enough though. It is about time that parliament reflected the make up of our nation(s) - Westminster does not reflect the broadly 50/50 male/female make up of the country.
