Head of Momentum John Lansman has shut down Momentum Youth and Students, asking for the them to cease using the name and handover Social Media Accounts.
Coincidentally, Lansman has held off on closing down Momentum Youth and Students until right before the close of voting for the Labour NEC - ensuring he gets as many obedient votes from MYS members for his NEC slate before pissing them off by banning their organisation.
He has a point though. Who needs 'Momentum Youth and Students' when you can 'encourage the developments of liberation networks'!
