Interesting how people interpret the results

Were we to have 'first past the post' the Brexit Party would have won 9 of the 11 UK regions

But 'obviously' this system is unfair so we have proportional representation which means the Brexit Party 'only' won 29 of the possible 70 seats (Becoming the largest single party in the EU Parliament).

But 'obviously' there were many people who voted for other parties other than Brexit or protested against them by staying at home or would have voted for a 'leave' party but they were too young or even some cases not yet born ................

So 'obviously' last night's result was a great defeat for both Brexit and the 'hard right'.
