  No discretion afforded. Carried out very publicly in front of the whole dorm. Outside. My favourite was getting them cutting a certain area of the lawn, with scissors . After all the other outdoor activities and training were completed. And of course their uniform and course work were up to scratch. Too tired after that for silly games and the degrading of every cadet/ student in the boarding school by the behaviour of a couple of weak minded not so intellectual individuals. They learned to agree to disagree but standing together for the greater good by " presenting a united front in the face of aversity". In other words, they behaved with respect towards their peers aswell as others after that. Anything else was sorted in the boxing ring. Then they shook hands. It's called learning to behave like big boys.
