    Sky reports the following for starters:

    "After results from seven councils Labour had gained 31 seats, the Tories had lost 15 and the Lib Dems had lost 10."

    This seems like a trend, will probably be confirmed tomorrow as the counting goes on.
    Turnout will also be an important factor. Probably lower than ever, albeit above 25%!
