    In local elections you should always vote for the person, in the General Election you should nearly always vote for the party, an exceptional sitting MP can break that rule.

    With the European elections it makes little difference who you vote for as we seem to be increasing dictated to by the rest of Europe.

    I still believe UKIP get the protest vote much like the Libs and Greens did in previous years.
