Putting aside what 'Brexit inspired populism' actually means, it is precisely
because this kind of thinking predominates in Labour that the party has been rejected in those areas in which it matters. This is the party's fault line, not the phoney 'Left' and 'Right' business. Labour is only just beginning to see the importance of this. And that's too late.
