Oh and there is no kneeling on the neck in krav Maga.

You may be an expert in this sort of thing, Reggie. I most certainly am not.

However, a former colleague and very good friend of mine's ex-husband was one of the first in the UK to receive formal accreditation in Krava Maga training. He runs a gym and specialist training service in Folkestone, teaching various service personnel across the board. Easily googleable if you're interested. I'm reliably informed that the essence of Krav Maga is to protect oneself or one's charges at any cost. According to him, the very essence is 'anything goes'. Techniques are drawn from any martial arts source, however aggressive, nasty or unethical, to achieve the ultimate self preservation result. There are no rules.

If you know better then I'm happy to bow to your superior knowledge. This sort of thing is way out of my personal experience.
