    On the wider issue of Israel, I fail to see why ANY country (by which I mean its administration) should be exempt from scrutiny and criticism.

    On the more technical issue of JC changing the anti-Semitism code, it is not within his gift to do that, it is the NEC that rule on it. JC, by virtue of office, is on the NEC (ex-officio) along with 30+ committee members. The code can be clearer but, in my view, it should not wash it hands - now or in the future - of Israel's behaviour.
