  At the end of the day Jezza is his own worst enemy, often leaving himself open to criticism. In 2014 he was a largely unknown back bencher who has always been supportive of the Palestinian cause. He was clearly being used by the organisers there and he really should have seen through it politely declining the invitation. Most politicians avoid getting involved in the Israeli/Palestinian issue as they know they will get flak from one side or the other. If he seriously believes that a peace dialogue could happen there he is seriously deluded as both sides would like to wipe the other off the face of the earth.
