    Much as I agree that Labour should rebuild by getting involved in communities and listening to the people instead of talking down to them being left wing is not a problem.

    Cast our minds back to 1992 when a fervent left wing ginger Welshman was heading to victory until a week or so before when the suits appeared and presented him as the voice of middle England.

    Didn't help that the Tories had knifed Thatcher and replaced her with someone bland though.
