  Green and traditional labour voters have always had overlap as being rather socially liberal and economically more socialist parties. They both appeal to the left. While greens tended to be more for the farer left, more so after blair, and antiblairite labour voters.
  
  The problem labour has is most supporters are being caught in the middle of battle between the blairites and the non blairites, which has lead to the far left of labour gaining ground.
