  Barry, cost is an issue. As I waited in the chemist to pick up a pescription I was appalled to hear a woman question which of her medications was the most important as she could only afford to pay for two items and not the third. She informed the chemist that she was working but fell outside of the benefits system.
  Even if everyone did have medical insurance the level of care would still be affected by the level of premium the individual could afford, i.e. Gold star, verses basic.
