  I can not understand why the government past and present have not tackled the tax laws, making them simpler and less open to the completely legal abuse that now prevails.
  
  Would it be that MPs and the donors to the various parties would not like loosing out on their tax dodges.

  They could tighten up all the loopholes almost overnight if they chose but that would seriously impact the wealthiest of the mp's and lords who have vast sums invested in numerous business's and investment funds, they pay lip service to our concerns but will never make it fair

  In the interests of fairness there is also a lot of government and councils funds in the same places so it would have some effect on the countries economy, though I don't think it would be that significant.

  Same situation where the issue of slum landlords will not be sorted, basically they're all in it together. Sorry I meant to say that we're all in it together.

  Astonishing that a country as lax in tax collection as Italy can collect a lot more than we are vaguely promised for a lot less business.

  What excellent ideas abound!
  
  Why does not Google start charging us all for use of Android Google Search Google Maps Gmail Blogger Chrome YouTube Drive Translate etc etc and it can use the money we give it to pay the taxes we demand?
  
  Frankly since 'Google' is such a small drain on the taxpayer (even Government departments are now using the Cloud for free rather than hiring servers) I think IT should be taxing US!

  I am saving up a few bob to send them Captain, a bucket will be passed around in town later. Incidentally Cadbury's haven't paid a penny in Corporation tax since they were taken over in 2010. I suppose we have to let them off as there is a glass and a half of full cream milk in every bar they sell.
