  Yes I am going to stand again at the next Gen/Election as a Independent, It will take votes away from UKIP which I have no wish to do,I have members of the public that will always vote for me ,I will find it hard to get the number I need to get my depost back but you can never tell the yellow voters will be looking to vote for some one and that will help me.

  Please Vic, consider again. You and lesley have both had a rough couple of years healthwise. You have said repeatedly that you would not stand again and now this statement. Can you really ask us to believe you when you seem to break promises at will?
  You seem to be a lovely man, do yourself a favour and put your family first!!

  Hard to just give up,but know where you are coming from so thank you for your post, it is my high in life I hate to give up on anything, easy to say but very hard to do.

  I could not agree more Lesley , putting it bluntly it is time to put your wife first.
  
  If you have no desire to take votes from UKIP why stand especially as you have more or less said you will probably loose you deposit.

  Vic, time to hang up the gloves and quit the ring I reckon.
  
  You've proved your point but, believe me, your Wife and family are much more important to you than a dented ego which is all you are letting yourself in for if you stand again.
  
  You will still retain the title as a Pheasant Plucker even if you don't stand again!
