I don't see the plan being workable anyway, companies buy on the futures market so unless the regulator has individual dates and prices paid he/she cannot act.

It suggest that politicians put forward these bills because they care about the constituents, which is clearly garbage. It's about choosing the right opportunities to try and embarrass the opposition, as if no labour MP would sit on the board of a multinational after retirement!!!

Energy bills will one day see the destruction of the conservative party for selling of the energy networks.
And the labour party will have big questioned to over there time in office not dealing with this one.
