    Jan - no-one is excusing anyone who fiddles expenses. Tell me, did you ever claim expenses when you worked if you had them? Legitimate expenses can and should be claimed, MPs should be no different to anyone else in the public or private sectors in that. Such expenses are a drop in the ocean anyway. These are two separate issues.
