    it's all about politics gary and playing to the gallery, you are right about the cost saving once appeals are taken into account it will actually cost more than paying out dla.

    i know personally of one person that was undergoing chemotherapy and was too weak to travel far, was told that if he didn't turn up for the assessment then his benefits would be stopped.
